"Fiddler on the Roof"

August 6-9

The Sudbury Theatre Centre will present this classic story from Thursday through Sunday. Times are 8:00 pm Thursday through Saturday nights plus 2:00 pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday. This play won nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964 and addresses threats to a minority group which is an issue we still see in our current society. It is also includes humour and a glimpse of a significant historic era. Enjoy some local culture at 170 Shaughnessy Street in Sudbury.

Lunch On A Lake Concert

July 3

Get the month started with a relaxing free show at the Vale Living With Lakes Centre. Jamie Dupuis will play the guitar from 12:00 - 1:00 pm while you survey the calming waters and tuck into your lunch. This is a picnic-style event where you're responsible for your own food - bring something tasty! Centre staff recommend parking in Parking Lot 15 off South Bay Road.

Every Monday in June at 7:00 pm, you can take beginner lessons for highland dancing, bagpipes, and drums – all free! It takes place at Laurentian University on Ramsey Lake Road.
