What do most Val Thérèse buyers miss?
- Pre-construction is a different transaction. Deposit structure, closing date changes, HST rebate assignment and warranty coverage all differ from a resale. Get the terms reviewed before you sign.
- School information online is often out of date. Several Valley East schools have closed or consolidated. Confirm your catchment directly with the board.
- Pools add cost. If a home has an in-ground pool, ask about the liner, heater and pump age, and factor in annual opening and closing costs.
- Plan for the winter commute. Drive MR 80 during a weekday rush before you commit.
